NL Stichting Cie. Melchior
Karine Guizzo woont al jaren in Den Haag waar zij actief deelneemt en bijdraagt aan de artistieke en culturele sector: bij Nederlands Dans Theater, Korzo, Danslab en verschillende projecten op locatie in de stad, van Stadhuis tot Gemeentemuseum.
Haar stichting Cie. Melchior komt voort uit haar passie om professionele dans-, muziek- en theatervoorstellingen te maken . Sichting Cie.Melchior maakt kwalitatieve, innovatieve professionele dans-, kunst- en muziekprojecten in de stad Den Haag. De bedoeling is niet alleen de dans- en kunstliefhebbers te bereiken maar ook een nieuw publiek aan te spreken en te verrassen op soms ongebruikelijke locaties.
Stichting Cie. Melchior is een stichting zonder winstoogmerk, en werkt op basis van incidentele gesubsidieerde dansprojecten.

Karine Guizzo, Artistiek leider en Choreograaf.
Van 1984-2002 werkte Karine als danser bij het Nederlands Dans Theater onder leiding van Jiří Kylián en met gastchoreografen zoals Ohad Naharin, Hans van Manen, Mats Ek, William Forsythe.
In 2000 heeft zij op verzoek van Kylián in Den Haag als ouverture van de avond "Arcimboldo" van het Nederland Dans Theater het project Underground Scenes gecreëerd, wat vervolgens heeft gespeeld in het Muziektheater Amsterdam, Basel, het Staatstheater Berlijn, Baden- Baden, l’Opera Parijs, Edinburgh Festival Theatre, het Nationaal Theater Praag en in het Art Theatre van Saitama in Japan.
Tussen 2006 en 2013 maakte ze een nieuwe Underground Scenes als 'opmaat' voor de Kylián avond in het Koninklijk Deens Ballet in Kopenhagen, de Noorse Opera en Ballet in Oslo en het Bayerisches Staatsballet in München.
Voor al deze installaties ontwierp ze de mise-en-scène, choreografie en ook de decor-objecten en kostuums. Ze werkte nauw samen met de makers en ateliers in de theaters, en vaak ook met muzikanten en zangers.
Tevens creëerde Karine werken voor een aantal bedrijven, theaters en festivals: Korzo Theater, CaDance Festival, Nederland Dans Theater (50-jarig jubileum in 2009), bij een rondleiding door het Grand Theatre du Luxembourg en het Teatro Real in Madrid, Holland Dance Festival, Codarts Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Rotterdam, Dogtroep (Locket 25 in het stadhuis van Den Haag), Donlon Dance Company Saarbrücken, Nationaal Theater Brno (Janacek Festival 2010) en meer recent met het Nationale Theater van Praag in een samenwerking voor de Opera Orfeo & Eurydice (2013).
Karine was medeoprichter van Danslab in Den Haag (2005) en met haar stichting Cie. Melchior creëerde zij enkele onafhankelijke gesubsidieerde projecten: Un Dia Tabata in het Regentes Theater (2009) en Pinocchio, uitgevoerd in het Lucent Danstheater den Haag (2011),We are Monuments(2020) , OPEN SPACE (2021-2022) ,SHOW OFF -research 2021),ME MONUMENTA! en Ellie& Lo.(2022)

Performers -Dancers
Lorenzo Capodieci (1990 Trieste, Italy) is a freelance dancer based in the Netherlands. In 2013 he graduated from Codarts, Rotterdam Dance Academy, and since then he is working with many different companies and choreographers: De Dancers in Utrecht, Piet Rogie, Jasper van Luijk, Cecilia Moisio, Erik Kaiel, Cie Woest, Katja Heitmann, Dadodans IDT and continuously through the years with Karine Guizzo in different works in theater as well as on location.

Katharina van Den Wouwer (Belgium in 1993)
Katarina van Den Wouwer currently works as an independent performer, dance facilitator, and massage therapist. She has been a dancer with the Royal Ballet of Flanders and Netherlands Dance Theatre, and her experience encompasses a wide spectrum of movement styles. ‘'Dance reminds me to be present to what is. Dance makes me feel alive and invites me to connect with my true nature. Dance forms a gateway to express my inner world and communicate it with the outside world. Dance becomes an offering.''
Christie Lou Partelow was born in New York (1987)and is now living in The Hague. She has danced professionally for Nederlands Dance Theatre, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, and Complexions, as well as in the role of ‘Anybodys’ in West Side Story the musical.
Karine worked with Christie for the creation of a duo on the occasion of the KLM 100 years anniversary celebration, and on the project We are Monuments.

Paolo Yao Kouadio (1990 Regio-Emilia Italy) graduated from Codarts Rotterdam. He danced with De Stilte Danst in Breda (2012/2016 ) and is since then freelance, working with the choreographers Connor Schumacher, Dario Tortorelli, Arno Schuitemaker, and few others, as well as modeling.
Karine worked with Paolo on a dance duo performed inside the Kunst Museum in The Hague.

David Krügel was born in South Africa,1959.
Béjart Ballet Brussels and Netherlands Dance Theatre are the companies that influenced him the most. He lives in The Hague

Xavier van Wersch ( NL 1976) studied visual arts, experimental electronic music, and philosophy. As an audio-visual artist, he has a keen interest in the creative misuse of obsolete technology and a strong preference for working in a theatrical environment, particularly within the field of modern dance. Over the past two decades, Xavier has worked as a composer, lighting designer, and technician with choreographers such as Amos Ben-Tal, Erik Kaiel, Erna Omarsdottir, Ivana Müller, Jiri Kylian, Johan Inger, Karine Guizzo, Meryl Tankard, Shusaku Takeuchi, and Stephen Shropshire.

Yvan Dubreuil born in France(1970 ), is resident in The Hague and danced for 18 years with NDT. Yvan has worked as co-choreographer, dramaturge, with artists such as Karine Guizzo, Johan Inger, Dylan Newcomb and with Amos Ben Tal (Off Projects).
